Electing the right people is an important step in continuing to move our union and working families forward. We have made major progress over the past eight years to have the interests of working families on the hearts and minds of those we have helped place in office. Without your help and support we cannot keep this progress moving in the right direction. Now more than ever we need your help. Your vote can and will make a difference in this election.

Trust me when I tell you, the candidates we have endorsed have a proven track record of voting the right way on working families’ issues. If you are registered to vote you need to turnout on November 2^nd and let your voice be heard and your vote count so that everyone will know that you are not ready to relinquish the power that working families have gained in in this country. You also need to encourage your friends and family members to vote. We need to support candidates who support us and truly have our best interests at heart.

Please take the time to research the candidates for yourself, read the information provided by your district council and review the list of endorsed candidates so that on November 2^nd you can make an educated decision. We all respect that how you vote is a personal decision, but keep in mind the values that have provided the most opportunities for you and your family to succeed here in the Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia. You and your family deserve leaders who will fight for you. We believe that the candidates endorsed will insure our continued success.
